You’ve mastered another delicious dinner but you’re at a standstill when it comes to the perfectly paired libation – sound familiar? We’re getting back to the roots for our take on the newest trend in craft cocktails: Garden to Glass!

When cooking with classic root vegetables and herbs – think yellow bell peppers, celery, cherry tomatoes, and fennel – keep your shaker handy and Aviation close by, we’re showing you how ‘produce’ the tastiest veggie-inspired cocktails.

Check out a few our favorite garden to glass creations below:

pepper_smash

PEPPER SMASH

⅓ pint glass full of fresh mint

2 oz Aviation American Gin

¾ oz Freshly pressed lime juice

¾ oz Grade A maple syrup

¾ oz Freshly extracted yellow bell pepper juice

In a pint glass, add spirits & mixers. Fill with ice.  Shake vigorously. Fin strain into a ice filled glass. Garnish with bell pepper slice & mint garnish

 Celery Cocktail

CELERY SUPERSTAR

1 thin Serrano chili slice

2 oz Aviation American Gin

3/4 oz Freshly pressed lime juice

1 oz Freshly extracted celery juice

3/4 oz Simple syrup

In a pint glass, combine spirits & mixers. Add ice. Shake vigorously. Fine strain into a martini glass. Garnish with upside down celery leaves on the rim of the glass.

 

FENNEL FANTASY 

1 1/2 oz Volstead Vodka

1/4 oz Pernod Absinthe

1/2 oz Freshly pressed lime juice

3 oz Freshly pressed fennel juice

1/4 oz Simple syrup

In a pint glass, add spirits & mixers. Add ice. Shake vigorously. Fine strain into a cocktial glass. Garnish with  a star anise pod.
