Notable Bartender

Rich

What’s your name? Rich T Heider II

When did you start with HSD? I started at HSD in February 2013

What’s your territory? Arizona

Favorite HSD product? This must be a trick question. I love ALL the HSD products, but I’ll tell you my favorite way to drink each one! Westward, on 1 large ice cube.  Coffee Liqueur, straight.  Aquavit, in a North Side cocktail (south side with Aquavit instead of gin).  Gamle Aquavit, neat. Last but not least, Aviation. I like it in gin and tonics, it goes great in Last Words, French 75’s, negronis and anything with citrus.
Where did you get your bartending skills?  I started at Dave & Buster’s and got my volume/speed there. I moved to the cocktail side when Jason Kosmas and Dushan Zaric of Employees Only came out and trained us when I opened J&G Steakhouse at the Phoenician. I’ve been hooked ever since, and try to pick up ideas and skills from all the amazing bartenders I’ve been fortunate to work with, since.
